Raymond A. Plakstis Sr. On September 16, 2013. Life long resident of Great Neck Owner of Doray Ent, of Great Neck a long established automotive repair shop, a Veteran of the Korean War, Member of the B.P.O.E., Member of the NRA, Ray was involved in auto racing at an early age with his father Tony ( Plakstis Racing) they raced Midget race cars throughout the country. Later Ray raced mostly in the Northeast. Also owned McCutchenville Speedway in Ohio He is survived by his sons Raymond Jr and wife Donna, Thomas McDonough and grandchildren Thomas Jr. Kelly, Tyler, Erin and Ryan In Lieu of Flowers please sent donations to; Shelter Connection PO Box 226 Greenvale, New York. 11548
