Obituary of Louis A. Perfetto

Please share a memory of Louis to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
PERFETTO- Louis A. of Miller Place on April 21, 2014. Beloved husband of 47 years to Antonette. Loving father of Louis A. Perfetto, Jr. and Robert M. Perfetto. Loving father in law to Kristin and Christina. Proud grandfather of Louis, Matthew Lauren and Danielle. Louis Perfetto immigrated from Sicily at the age of 10 with his mother, Angelina. His Mom passed away when he was only 24 yrs old after a three year battle with ovarian cancer. After her death, he was drafted into the Army where he honorably served in the Green Berets for 4 years. When he was discharged from the Army, he soon thereafter met Antonette Iorio who he married shortly thereafter and remained married for 47 years until his death. Due to Lou’s tough upbringing and being denied many things in life at a young age, he vowed, with Anonette, that he would give his family an opportunity to succeed in life and give his children a father that was always there. He wanted to make sure that his family always knew they were loved and cherished. This desire to give his family everything, and to always be there, drove who he was as a person, husband and father. As a family, we can say that Dad was always there. No matter where you looked or whenever something went wrong, Dad was there to figure it out or to support you. He never let us down and always put his own needs second.
