Obituary of Clarence V. Blake

 Clarence Vincent Blake Jr., "Jake", 91, of Manhasset, New York passed away peacefully Saturday February 17th.  Born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1932 son of Clarence and Agnes Blake.  Loving husband of 55 years to Eileen(nee Cullen), formerly of Garden City, New York.  Devoted father to Thomas Blake(Amy), Cathleen Hellman(Chrys), Kieran Blake, Molly Meegan(James), James Blake and Timothy Blake(Kaitlin).  Cherished grandfather of Space Force 2nd Lieutenant Thomas Hellman, Molly, Matthew, Kathryn, Kelly, Elizabeth, Lauren, Julia, Peter, Claire, Maeve and Spencer Jake.  Brother to Joseph Blake(Jane), John Blake(Mary), and Robert Hill.  Predeceased by Jane Blake, Betty Blake, and Bernadette Hill. Caring uncle to sixty nieces and nephews.

  Graduated from Saint Ignatius High School '50, John Carroll University '54, and The Wharton School '58.  Served in the US Army '54-'56.  Member of the New York Stock exchange from 1969-1998 where he operated CVB Brokerage.  Devout parishioner of St. Mary's Church.  Lifelong supporter of his St. Ignatius Wildcats as well as all Cleveland teams.

Visitation:  Friday February 23rd   2-4 & 6-8 pm

Funeral mass: Saturday February 24th 10:15am St Mary's Church, Manhasset

Interment:  Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury
