Obituary of Lorraine Anne Rios-Veve

Please share a memory of Lorraine to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Lorraine Anne Rios Veve was the most beautiful person inside and out.
Throughout her 74 years of life she had many roles. She played each one of them with her whole heart. She came into this world June 27,1949 as the DAUGHTER of Al & Johanna Rios. They became proud parents of their sweet Lorraine. Then, she became the proud SISTER of Albert ‘Junior’ Rios, December 13, 1952. At the age of 10 she became a FRIEND to her best friend, Diana Rodriguez-O’Neill. On June 25, 1972 she became a WIFE to Edwin Veve. October 10, 1973 she became a GODMOTHER to Tiffany Ann Marie Moran. Her most significant role she played was when she became a MOTHER on July 20, 1974 to Elissa Diane Veve. She was the absolute best mother in the world. She was blessed again on June 4, 1976 and become the godmother to Dominica Oneill Campbell. In 1981, she started as an EMPLOYEE of the USPS where she worked for thirty years. As years passed she touched many lives, had many more significant roles and built beautiful relationships. On July 3, 2004 she became the MOTHER IN LAW to Marc Racioppo. But, ultimately the role that defined her later in life was being a GRANDMOTHER to Eric Anthony Racioppo on January 16, 2009 and again to Sara Lorraine Racioppo on October 4, 2010. However, the role she played in every stage of her life was being a FIGHTER. She fought for what she believed in, who she loved and for her life over the last 14 years. She was a blessing and now she is one of our most precious angels above

Donations may be made in her memory to: St Jude Children's Hospital
