Obituary of Michael Fahey

Michael L. Fahey

Mike Fahey was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend. He was married to his wife Mollye for over 32 years and was a devoted father to Michael, Patrick, Meghan, and Bronco. He was also the eldest son of Phil and Liz Fahey and dearly loved his four brothers Mark, Phil, Rich, and Chris.

Mike grew up in Rockville Centre, NY where he attended St. Agnes Cathedral School before matriculating to Chaminade High School. He was a diligent student and gifted athlete, but always put his friendships above all else. He went on to study at Georgetown University where he cultivated bonds that would last a lifetime, including meeting his beloved wife.

After college, Mike moved to New York City where he embarked on a career in finance and as an investor. Work always came second to his true passion – lifting up the people around him.

Mike was so excited to start the most recent chapter of his life. He dove into new passions with intoxicating enthusiasm. He became a relentless walker with his four-legged companion, Bronco. He cherished Cape Cod vacations and loved to golf with friends both old and new. Most important, however, remained his love for people and their stories.

He was endlessly curious and an avid reader. He always sought out, and welcomed, new perspectives and ways of viewing the world. He picked up hobbies and ingrained himself into diverse communities of people. Every step of the way he was a trusted friend and confidante to all.
