Obituary of Barbara Gerbasi

On January 23, 2023 Barbara Gerbasi passed away peacefully at her home in Manhasset.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Nicholas Gerbasi; Children, Lisa (Paul Goring), Joan, Kim (Tom Cole), Philip (Debbie Gerbasi) and David.

Barbara was an accomplished freelance writer, an avid jogger, who ran several marathons.  Later in life, she took up Ballet and would practice multiple times a week.

She cherished time with her family and has left behind many beautiful memories.

Barbara was 84.

A wake will be held at Fairchild Sons Funeral Chapel in Manhasset, January 25th from 3-5 and 7-9.   A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday January 26th at 11:45 at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Manhasset.
