Obituary of Giovanna Yorio

Giovanna Yorio, loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away on October 14th, 2022.  She was 80 years old.  Born February 26, 1942 in Port Washington, New York, Giovanna is survived by her husband of 59 years, William, sons, William (Elizabeth) and Michael (Amy) and four wonderful grandchildren, Zachary, Trevor, Drea and Lila.  Giovanna dedicated her life in service to her family, friends and community, always with a smile on her face and laughter in her heart.  She will be sorely missed by all whose lives she touched.   Services will be held on Wednesday, October 19th from 3:00 - 5:00 and 7:00 -9:00 at Fairchild Sons Funeral Home, 1570 Northern Boulevard, Manhasset, New York.  Funeral Services will be held on October 20th at St. Peter’s of Alcantara Roman Catholic Church, 1327 Port Washington Blvd., Port Washington NY 11050 at 9:30 am.
