Obituary of MaryAnn Loffredo

Please share a memory of MaryAnn to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
MaryAnn Loffredo passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 13, 2022.  She was born on December 3, 1943 in Corona, NY to Marie and Onorio "Chick" Palombo.  She was the third and youngest child, with brothers Michael and Robert.  In 1961, MaryAnn met the love of her life, Vinny Loffredo.  They were married in 1963 and moved to Flushing, NY where they raised their children, John and Linda. While John and Linda were growing up, MaryAnn was the neighborhood mom and thought of all her children's friends as her kids.  Her house was open to all.  MaryAnn and Vinny loved that the neighborhood kids would hang out at their house and was always happy to make a second pot of sauce on Sunday when everyone would show up unannounced after football.  When John and Linda married and had children of their own, MaryAnn became a loving and devoted grandmother.  She was the heart of the family and relished the role of “Crazy Nan”, making everyone laugh at every opportunity.  While the family's hearts are broken, we know that MaryAnn is finally out of pain, at peace and is with her husband -  which is exactly where she always wanted to be.  Her son-in-law Phil said it best -  "I have never seen or heard of anyone missing someone the way MaryAnn missed Vinny".
MaryAnn is survived by her son John with his wife Tracy, her daughter Linda Lenz with her husband Phil, and her four beloved grandchildren - PJ, Steven, Justin and Matthew.
