Obituary of Virgilio Paul Pennetti, jr.

Virgilio Paul Pennetti Jr. born on September 19, 1932, a lifelong resident of Port Washington, passed away on May 26, 2022. Paul, as he was known to many, dedicated his life to public service, serving in the US Army during the Korean War until 1956, then joining the Probation Department of Nassau County upon his return. Paul climbed the ranks within the Probation Department and after more than 40 years of service retired as the Deputy Director of Probation. Paul was an avid gardener supplying vegetables for his family, neighbors and friends.

A son, brother and uncle to his family, Paul was the Patriarch for us all. He is survived by his lifelong companion Joan, brother Joseph, Sister in-law Eileen, nephews Joseph Jr. and Robert, nieces Dawn Ann, Lisa, Benita and Dianna, grand nephew Vincent and grand nieces Stephanie, Kristina, Hayley, Hannah, Kamma and Mary'Kai.

Paul was kind and generous and will be remembered with great love by all.
