Obituary of Alice Brannigan

Alice Brannigan (née Donnelly) passed away peacefull on April 19, 2022. Alice was the beloved wife of the late Desmond Brannigan. Loving mother and mother-in-law to Kevin (Edie) Brannigan, Desmond (Rosemary) Brannigan, Mary (Bob) Neubert, Cora (Scott) Garrigan and Una Brannigan. Adored Nana to Ashley, Robert, Patrick, Carly, Mikey, Thomas, Emma, Sarah and Alice. She is survived by her sister Mary Slane. Predeceased by her brothers, Patrick, Francis and John Arthur. Loving sister in law, aunt and friend to many.

Alice was born in Mullaghbawn, Ireland on August 26, 1934. She came to New York in 1960 and was married at St. Aloysius Church. Her and Desmond lived and raised their five children in Great Neck, Ny for 35 years before retiring to the Catskills Mountains in Greenville, NY. She lost her beloved Desmond in 1999 but remained there till 2018 when she moved back down to Long Island to be closer to her children and grandchildren.
