Thursday, August 1, 2019Michael was special to the entire Tortora family. He was a long-term friend of Rich, and more recently Evan and Jack, a coach and mentor to Ross and a frequent visitor to our home. He possessed an encyclopedic knowledge of sports and especially loved the NY Jets and Manhasset's football and lacrosse teams. We will all miss sharing time with him.

Wednesday, July 31, 2019I knew mike very well during my elementary school-early high school years very well. We fell out of touch him being a year younger than me but I cherished every time waking up early to shovel snow with him hearing his refreshing laugh. I can still remember passing by lax unlimited to see him stringing sticks making conversation with the other manhasset residents. I remembered mike to be a vibrant funny guy who would Always be down to play video games or even just hang out. I still can’t believe the news of his passing. He is for sure in a better place and I will continue to look back on him with fond memory and heart.
