Frank Paul Nuzzolese passed away peacefully on the morning of Sunday, February 7, 2016 at the age of 89. He leaves behind his beloved wife Hendrika (Rita) Nuzzolese, to whom he was married for 65 years. Together, Frank and Rita have four daughters: Diane Nuzzolese, Linda Prudente, Connie Zaccherio and the late Lucy Brown. In addition to Linda and Lucy’s husbands, Tony Prudente and Kevin Brown, Frank has 10 grandchildren—Christina, Frank, Kyle, Larry, Paul, Jaclyn, Michael, Katie, Kandice and Vittoria. He has 2 great-grandchildren, Daniela and Matthew, with another due in September. Frank also leaves behind a brother, Paul Nuzzolese, and his wife Cynthia. A lifelong resident of Port Washington, Frank owned and operated Nuzzolese Ice Brothers with his father Constantino, his brothers and his nephews. He was a member of The Sons of Italy, Cancer Care, The Knights of Columbus and very involved in local politics. Frank served his community with passion as a volunteer firefighter; he was a 72-year member of Atlantic Hook & Ladder Company. He will be missed by so many friends, colleagues and loved ones.
