Obituary of Michael R. Kappeli

Please share a memory of Michael to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Mr. Michael R. Kappeli 02/21/1984 – 05/25/2015 Michael Ronald Kappeli of Boca Raton, FL and formerly of Manhasset, NY and East Hampton, NY has passed at 31 years of age. Born in February 21, 1984 in New York, NY, he was raised in Manhasset, NY. At 16 years of age, he became the Technology Administrator for both of his parent’s businesses. Over the years he continued to serve in that role while taking on various other projects and eventually deciding to follow his passion for music, he then founded Eyes on the Back Door. The premature departure of this extraordinary and multi-faceted young man has left his family and friends overwhelmed with inconsolable sorrow. Michael’s talents were limitless; he was innovative, a talented musician and extremely tech savvy. He was a person who took on any task with passion and precision. Together with his German Shepherd, Fritz Kappeli, he traveled around the country and in each town or city they landed in, they planted the seeds of friendship and generosity. No matter the color of their skin or their religious background or even social status, he gave unconditionally and without end. He loved life in its entirety and always sought harmony over discord. Knowing his philosophy of life, we are certain that he has left a tremendous legacy behind of friendship and loyalty within each person that has had the fortune of interacting with him. Michael is survived by his parents, Kurt and May Kappeli of Manhasset, NY, and his brother, Robert Kappeli of Forest Hills, NY. Details on charitable donations to follow.
