Margaret P. Williams (nee Rooney), “Mickey,” 75, of Plandome, NY, on July 14, 2014. Beloved wife of Morgan “Lloyd” for 53 years. Devoted mother of Lloyd (Meaghan) and John Williams and Christine Labrecque (Thomas). Doting grandmother of Morgan, Fiona and Abigail Williams and Margot and Thomas Labrecque. Born in Astoria, NY, President of the 1960 class of Queens College (BA) and graduate of New York University (MA). A Past President of the Plandome Women’s Club, Mickey was active in the Village as well as being an avid bridge player, voracious reader and expert in crewel embroidery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be madeto the Manhasset Women’s Coalition Against Breast Cancer.
