I have only known Jason as a patient of mine, but in the time I have known him I have found him to be a wonderful and caring human being. He loved his family very much. It was a great honor to care for Jason. I always looked forward to seeing him and his family come to the hospital. I will truly miss him. My deepest condolences to his family.

No words can express my sadness from losing my good friend Jason.
When I met him at the Chinese American Cancer Association, I was very impressed by his passion of his volunteer work, fighting cancer. He told me that his father passed away at a young age, by cancer. My mother also passed away of cancer at a young age. I admired his hard work for the Chinese Cancer association.
In the past years, we would talk a few times as I asked his opinions about investment. Jason will always live on in my heart

*In memory of a great person in my life
I have received two phone calls from my two old friends in New York, and learned that Jason Fu, a chairman, who supported me to establish the Chinese unit of the American Cancer Society 30 years ago, passed away at the age of 59. My heart is very sad and lost!
He was one of the benefactors who helped me to start the cancer care services at Flushing, New York. At that time, he was very young, always low-key, loyal, persistent, silently supported, and raised funds to develop cancer services and projects in the Chinese community. When I encountered difficulties, I knew that I could turn to him. He analyzed and tried to find a solution with me.
Some people have appeared in our life journey, although they have left, they will always be imprinted in a corner of our hearts. He is such a special person, and I will cherish him for life!
I remember the night before I left New York, he came to ring my doorbell and gave me this special souvenir, which I have always treasured. Thank you, Jason! you are always on my mind.
