Obituary of Evelyne Gillen Buscher

Please share a memory of Evelyne to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
My mother was the most beautiful and kindred spirit inside and out. She was smart as a whip, and if you knew my mom, there was the right way to do things and then there was her way! She was an absolutely amazing cook, brought together family & friends every Sunday to her dinner table. Her amazing cooking will certainly be missed, she put love into her cooking  just like she did everything in her life. Her love for her family was unconditional & deep and covered you like a warm blanket. She would do anything for the people she loved, would give you her last dollar and the shirt off her back. She was a saint in this life and now she is our personal saint and angel above us. She was deeply empathetic and always wanted to help those who were less fortunate. That's who my mom was, she was selfless and always worried about others.  It isn't just her family and friends that will be left with a void that can't be filled. Her pets at home will miss her deeply. Evelyne was the female version of Saint Francis of Assisi , the patron saint of animals. She loved her pets like they were family. That same love for animals was passed onto to all of her children. She fought bravely and gallantly to the very end, just so her loved ones could have more time with her. Let us celebrate the good times and warm memories she shared with all of us, how she touched our lives. She will live on in our hearts and spirits.
Evelyne is survived by her loving & loyal husband Thomas Buscher, her mother Gerda Soria. 3 children: James Gillen, Nikolas Buscher & Michaela Buscher. 3 stepchildren: Justin Buscher, Amy Karrol and Sean Buscher.  Her two sisters Sandra Weidner & Tanja Weidner.
