Frances was born March 12, 1929, in Elmhurst, NY. She graduated from Bishop McDonnell Memorial High School and then went on to have a career with JC Penny. She met the love of her life Thomas F. Mahon, and they were married October 14, 1950. They had 6 children and quickly outgrew their cherished home in Flushing, NY. They moved to Manhasset, NY in 1968 and lived there for over 50 years. They always felt so fortunate to live in a town that offered such great school systems in St. Mary’s and Manhasset. St. Mary’s also provided the church where they could practice their very devoted faith on a daily basis.

Through her life Frances worked tirelessly for her loving husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all, but her memories will live on forever.
