I was blessed to have Vito as my father-law for over 30 years. He was truly a kind and loving man who always met you with a smile and open heart. He surprised me once with a bouquet of flowers and said “I love as If you were my own daughter”. I will miss watching Him making his famous pizza and hearing him sing. I will love you forever..... your daughter-in-law Kris

Paul De Florio posted a condolence

On behalf of myself and my father, Domenico De Florio, we offer our deepest condolences to the Racanelli family. My late mother, Domenica (Mondelli) De Florio, is 1/4 Racanelli. Carmina and Vito provided the biggest help to my mother when she was 18 and arrived in New York from Sannicandro di Bari, Italy in 1948. My mother never forgot their generosity and neither will I. Vito was a wonderful man and as nice as they come. I was pleased that my mother was able spend her golden years near Vito and Aunt Minie in South Florida. It made her very happy. My Dad & I think of the Racanelli family at this time. May God bless.
