Frank Palattella, beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend, passed away on November 7, 2020 with his family by his side. Frank was born September 18, 1937 and proudly lived most of his life in Port Washington, graduating from Paul D. Schreiber High School in 1955. Frank led a successful career in the food brokerage business and was a partner of DMR Associates. He was a loving family man, who was often spotted conducting his weekend family “check ins” all around town. He was an avid spectator at his grandchildren’s sporting and arts events, cheering on his grandchildren and their teammates alike. He was generous with his time and resources, supporting various charitable organizations, especially those for underprivileged children. Frank cherished his many long-lasting friendships and was a role model to so many. He was a man of integrity and enjoyed the simple pleasures of life; a good meal, nine holes of golf, Sunday Football and time spent with family. Frank was married to Eileen Palattella for 56 magical years. He leaves behind his four daughters: Stacy Cunningham (Jim), Kris Murphy (Bob), Dana Malvey (Jim), Paula Halligan (Bill) and also his nine loving grandchildren and a large extended family.
