In Loving Memory of Grace Mawere 1948 - 2020 Our indispensable, indefatigable and influential mom entered her heavenly home to be eternally with the Lord on April, 19, 2020. Her legacy, love of family, invaluable and timeless wisdom will live forever. Her deep seated determination, incredible emotional intelligence, and remarkable resilience in the face of life challenges make her the consummate role model of strength. Her triumphant success in life is self-evident and is exemplified by what she, and her posterity has accomplished in changing the world to make it a better place for others. The transformational impact has effected people across several nations. Her unflinching dedication to educating her children is an inspiration and her inculcation of ambition and independence in her children and grandchildren is unquestionably the single most valuable asset she left for them. Grace was a kind, caring, loving, generous, hardworking, fearless and ever joyful person whose exemplary living, character and fidelity influenced many around her and has etched an indelible mark in the lives of her children and friends. Her memorable smile and calming demeanor will be profoundly missed. Grace moved to the United States from Zimbabwe in 2000 and ultimately settled in Manhasset, New York where she ingratiated herself into the community. Still living in the loving memory of Grace are her eternally grateful two brothers; Maxwell and Douglas; three sisters Caroline, Plaxedes and Moreblessing; three sons, Dr. Jonathan Mawere and his wife Dr. Felestasia Mawere, Michael and his wife Patience and Melusi; three daughters Belinda, Ruth and Kudzai; twelve grandchildren, Joshua, Michelle, Alexis, Jonathan William,Tinotenda, Tanatswa, Ayanda, Nyasha, Takudzwa, Tadiwa, Tyrell and Sharon; One great grandson Nathan and dozens of nieces, nephews and many friends across the world. Grace is predeceased by her father Samson, mother Rebecca and husband.
