Loving sister of Joseph Baltunis, Margaret Barger, and Anna Hill, deceased; and survived by her twin sister, Edna O’Connor of Newport, RI. Mary lived in Port Washington, NY since 2000 in the village of Manorhaven, with her daughter, Eileen. She was a faithful member of Our Lady of Fatima R.C. church, and a 20 year member of the Port Washington Adult Activities Center. All who knew her describe her as “Sweet”, owing to her good nature and easy smile. She was a prolific crocheter, making hats for so many friends and family, and a quiet supporter of her community. A strong NYC gal, she weathered the challenges of life with the shining example of her faith and undaunting sense of independence. May she rest in peace with the souls of our beloved departed family. Due to the restrictions of covid-19, funeral services are limited to immediate family at Fairchild Sons of Manhasset. Please record your condolences on their website. Any donations in Mary’s name should be given to Project Outreach and Our Lady of Fatima, supporting her church and the Port Washington community.
