I no longer work at the Bellmore location (Arby’s) but I always think about Tom , it’s sad that he passed at the age of 63 I can never forget about Tom he was a good down to earth person his passing is the day after my father’s passing anniversary December 27th and December 28th which is Tom’s passing is never easy for me each year it’s going on 5yrs since Tom passed and it’s going on 10yrs since my father passed I really do hope Tom’s family is doing okay I understand how hard it is loosing a loved one

I am saddened to hear of Tom's death and I am so sorry for your family's loss. Tom was a good and honorable man and I looked forward to any occasion that I knew I would get to spend some time with him. Tom and I shared a table for dinner just a few months ago, and as always, we had a great time together. I was blessed to know Tom and I am so sorry for your loss. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy.

I was so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. I have always enjoyed him (and your family) in the times that we had together while I was employed by Arby's. Tom was one of the few that I remained in contact with...
It was an honor and pleasure to know him and I will miss our business and political conversations...

Tom was a man that was like no other. He was someone who always put me in a good mood and made me feel like I was always doing the right thing even when I was unsure if I was. Everytime I would call him,Tom would sound ecstatic to hear from me on the phone. He treated me like a son and never put me down. No matter what I may have done he never saw harm in my doing and always patted me on the back. Tom helped me when I was unsure about how to fix a problem. He believed in me, he trusted In me. He put me to run a restaurant for him at 22 years old and took me in when I had just turned 17. I always commended him for being so humble and selfless towards others and he never put himself above anyone. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, boss and man who taught us all so much and no matter what it was he could do it! Forever the hardest working man in the room! Thank you Tom for all you’ve done you will truly be missed by all and your legacy will only continue as we will follow in your footsteps. God bless you and your family!

Such a sudden loss. Our thoughts and sympathy are with everyone in the family at this sad time, but especially with Olivia, Andrea & Joseph, & Toms mother Veronica. Tom was a great guy. We were especially grateful to him and Olivia for the wholehearted way they welcomed our son Ben into their own family. It is a blessing that Tom had some time with his grandson Thomas although so sadly cut short. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him but will be forever in our hearts. God bless, rest in peace.

I worked for Arby’s in Bellmore for 4.5 years. Tom was one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met. He was also very funny and helpful as well. Very well spoken and a pleasure to be around. Always had fun talking about sports with him even when it was busy. Tom you will always be remembered by everyone who has worked for you. Rest easy Tom!

I was first introduced to Tom when we were opening our Arby’s location in Manhattan 3 years ago. He was extremely helpful and generous in his support, for which we are very grateful. Over time I got to occasionally visit the area and spend time with him in his restaurants. It was obvious that he was well liked by his team and customers. It goes without saying that he was a knowledgeable and respected restauranteur.
He will be sorely missed.
Our hearts go out to Olivia, Tom’s family, coworkers and friends at this difficult time.

I work for the Arby’s location in Bellmore, I would see Tom almost everyday stop in and he would always say “Hi Terry” he was absolutely a kind hearted soul. I didn’t know him well enough but he was kind and an intelligent person he surely will be missed by me and the rest of the Arby’s team. We love you Tom you’ll forever be in our hearts and minds

Imagine a young man that was convicted of 7 counts of robberies at age 17 and finally comes home after a 5 year sentence/5 years parole supervision. Imagine that this young man’s life changed positively forever and now struggles to seek employment to become a productive person in our society. Well, that young man was me and Thomas J. Clarke made it possible for me to believe in myself regardless of my criminal record. I worked in Middle Village as a crew for a couple of months and eventually Tom promoted me to a manager position. Tom put his trust in me allowing me to have access to the safe and giving me a copy of the restaurant’s keys. I will absolutely NEVER forget Tom. He gave me an opportunity and I didn’t let him down. I also have a last email I received from Tom that will be remembered forever! Tom was a true gentleman! God bless you all. And remember he may have passed but the memories never pass!
