Obituary of Andrew R. Mosby

Please share a memory of Andrew to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Andrew Ryerson Mosby (6/3/34-9/11/18) entered peacefully the fullness of Eternal Life earlier today.  He died at home in his sleep. Our “Church Father,” the man with the longest continuous membership, was baptized in October 1934; he’s been a member of Our Savior’s for 84 years.

Andy is survived by his wife, Ronnie, of almost 61 years (Our Savior wedding 10/26/57), three children – Wendy Trunz, Andrew E. Mosby, & Jill Buss, and five grandchildren, James Buss, Warren & Grace Trunz, and Grant & Noelle Mosby. He was predeceased by a grandson, Luke Buss.

The family will receive visitors in the Sanctuary of Our Savior’s on Friday, September 14 (Holy Cross Day) between 7 and 9pm.  An hour of visiting, beginning at 9am on Saturday, precedes the funeral service that shall commence at 10am.  The Committal Service shall be held immediately after the funeral at Nassau Knolls Cemetery.

The family requests in lieu of flowers donations to the church’s Memorial Fund.

Let us pray:  Almighty God, Source of all mercy and Giver of comfort:  deal graciously, we pray, with Andy’s family and friends, that, casting all their sorrow on You, they may know the consolation of Your love; through Your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen.
