~~Helen Archer-McNulty
Helen Archer-McNulty, born June 24, 1928, in the Bronx, passed away July 6, 2017, at her residence in Great Neck, New York. Her children were at her bedside.
She was the beloved mother of four children with her late husband, Stephen Archer (married in 1950). In 1988, she married Michael McNulty and became the step-mother of his four children. Also known as "Nana" or "Grandma Helen" for almost thirty years, she will be missed everyday by her fourteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Helen was not only the matriarch of this extended family, but a sharp business woman who worked into her eighties. She was an intricate part of the Thomas Van Riper Realty Corporation of Bayside; for over twenty years. She was a woman of faith who put her Catholic virtues into practice in her everyday life with friends and family.
A true New Yorker…her request at the end of many family functions was to play "New York, New York”. Known for her fashion sense, quick wit, and love of dancing, she was able to keep a fast pace. She truly was "a part of it."
The Helen Archer-McNulty Family is appreciative of anyway that you choose to express your acknowledgement and comforting gestures to us.
