Obituary of Alma K. Shanahan

Alma Shanahan of Great Neck, New York was peacefully called Home on Monday, September 25th, 2017 at the age of 88. Alma is the wife of the late Jerry Shanahan. She now joins the love of her life to begin a new forever.
 
Alma is survived by her five children – JoAnn (Walter), Tom (Bonnie), Terry (Tim), Karen (Bob), and Colleen. She leaves behind her 11 grandchildren: Kane, Connor, Katie, Kevin, Colleen, Megan, Grady, Riley, Josie, Erin, and Emma. Reposing at Fairchild and Sons Funeral Home in Manhasset on Friday, Sept. 29th from 2-4 PM and 6-9PM. Funeral services will be held at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church in Great Neck on Saturday, Sept. 30th at 9:30 AM followed by burial at Mount St. Mary’s Cemetery.
