I remember the first day I met Jaime; we worked at NEST together. We became good friends; he was my only friend in Naples for a long time. He introduced me to some of my current friends today. If it wasn't for him; I would have never met my fiancé. Jaime will always have a place in my heart
We had more great times than you could count, but wherever we went, JP would always notice the person in the room that, for whatever reason, needed cheering up. He would have them smiling and laughing in no time, and there were plenty of times where I was that person. He's been doing that for about twenty four years. He would always say 'you're the funniest person I know. Everyone you meet loves you. You're gonna do great....and plus you're beautiful!'
So many times, he's made me laugh so hard that my stomach hurt. I have enough hilarious crazy stories about him to last the rest of my life, so thank you JP for everything. I promise to make sure you keep em laughing for a long time.
With love and light, we are with you at this time of pain and heartbreak. Jaime is a shining star in our lives and hearts. cousin Annie, Alberto, Lorenzo and Luca.
We were at the park gazebo in the spring of '98 when Jaime walked over to me, pointed to his friend's parked car, and said, "See my friend Nick over there? He wants to talk to you. Go over there." When I hesitated, Jaime shouted, "Just go!"
Thank you, Jaime, for giving me that nudge and the greatest "introduction" of my life...and for allowing me to share your best friend with you.
I always knew when Nick was on the phone with you because he'd laugh harder and louder. His smile would last long after the conversation ended.
It seems impossible to say goodbye, but we will always remember the kind, clever, endearing person you were. We'll always cherish your friendship and the good times...there are too many to count. "We didn't realize we were making memories, we just knew we were having fun." Love you...
Jaime has the biggest heart of anyone and would do anything to help a friend or stranger. In the 20 plus years of being his friend I cannot remember an unkind word or a mean bone in his body. He had a way of making you feel like you were the only person he wanted to talk with at that moment or that you were the best version of yourself. From being kids in middle school and every year since I moved to Los Angeles Jaime made a point to stay in touch and reach out to know he was thinking of me.
The world lost one of the best ones - but God has an extra special angel on his side now. We all have a little more love pouring down on us.
Watching you grow from a preschooler to a man has been a joy. You were such a kind, caring and loving person with the greatest smile and warmest hugs. You had a special way of making everyone feel that you were so happy to be with them.. We have such wonderful memories of the fun times we all spent together in Manhasset and Florida and will cherish them always.
Our deepest condolences to Linda & Philip, Paul & Clare, & Adam. May beautiful memories of Jaime bring smiles to your faces and peace to your hearts. A beautiful bright and loving light has left us and is now shining in our hearts. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. May God bless you with peace, comfort and strength.
With love and hugs,
Donna & Sal
Whenever we met Jaime, he would never say hello to us.
Whenever we met Jaime, he would never shake our hands.
INSTEAD
Jaime would wrap his arms around you with a hug that was warm & loving.
It wasn't just a normal hug between 2 people that is usually quick & casual.
Jaime's hugs were the warmest & most genuine hugs that we have ever felt.
We think that if Jaime could have climbed inside of you & got even closer, he would have.
Since we first met Jaime as a toddler, he was one of the most loving children that we ever knew & that includes our own grandchildren.
No one & we mean no one gave you a hug like Jaime. He was so genuine & that is why everyone loved him.
We will always remember Jaime for the love that he gave to everyone but especially for his hugs.
THEY JUST CANNOT, NOR WILL THEY EVER BE DUPLICATED. THEY WERE THAT SPECIAL!!!!
Jaime, you will remain in our hearts forever.
Love, Cheryl & Bob
